ECCRD News: Greece and China have made great achievements in the field of culture and economy. As of December 2018, China Ocean Shipping Corporation, State Grid Corporation, China Machinery Engineering Corporation, China Construction Engineering Corporation, Shenhua Group, Huawei, ZTE and other large Chinese enterprises are cooperating with Greek partners in important investment projects in shipping, infrastructure, energy, telecommunications and other fields.

Among them, the COSCO Piraeus cooperation project has become a model of "the Belt and Road" cooperation in Europe and China. Currently, COSCO Shipping Group owns 67% of the project equity in Piraeus Port. The project reflects the five core elements of "the Belt and Road" initiative, namely, policy communication, facilities connectivity, smooth trade, financing integration, people-to-people bond, and the principle of co construction and sharing. With the continuous progress of this project, the cooperation between Greece and China in multilateral fields will be more diversified and stronger.
