On April 20th, the European-style Street Fair, hosted by the European Union Delegation to China and the embassies and consulates of the 27 EU member states in China, was held in Shamian Island, Guangzhou. A large number of visitors, including many young people, had the opportunity to experience the quality of life in the EU and its rich cultural diversity by visiting the exhibition stands of the EU and its 27 member states, participating in interactive activities, enjoying artistic performances and tasting European food and beverages.

   The exhibition stand of Greece introduced to the visitors its rich cultural heritage, beautiful natural scenery and unique cuisine, all of which make Greece an appealing tourist destination.

   Visitors were able to learn about famous high-quality agricultural products of Greece such as Greek olive oil, wine and spirits at the exhibition stand, and they tasted Greek wine, spirits and delicacies.

   A large number of visitors participated in the quiz with prizes about Greece and won gifts such as tickets to the archaeological exhibition of Hunan Museum and Greek souvenirs through lucky draws.

Mr. Jorge Toledo, Ambassador of the European Union to China (the one in blue clothes on the right), and Mr. Martinos Mandalidis, Consul General of Greece in Guangzhou (the one in blue clothes on the left), visited the exhibition stand of Greece.
