The Greek speaker of Parliament, Panagiotis pikrammenos, the Minister of development and investment Adonis Georgiadis, the Minister of defense Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, and the Minister of maritime and island policy Giannis Plakiotakis), the president of ECCRD, the first vice president of Greek China Association,Amalia Matiatou, and the  president of Greek China Association, Andreas Potamianos ,and other Greek leaders and cabinet members, representatives of Greek political parties,

Parliament, economy, culture, science and technology, education and media, envoys in Greece, overseas Chinese in Greece, Chinese funded institutions and overseas students attended the reception.

The guests congratulated the 70th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China, praised China's great development achievements and were full of confidence in the future of China Greece relations.

In order to recognize and encourage institutions that have made important contributions to the development of China Greece relations for a long time, Ambassador Zhang Qiyue, on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Greece, presented the "China Greece friendship Contribution Award" to 10 Greek institutions including the "Greece China Friendship Association".
